ROCK STARZ AT HEAVY HITTERS

This Saturday, January 28, our cheer athletes competed at Heavy Hitters, a cheer competition in Trenton, NJ. Nearly half of the Sun National Bank Center was filled with cheer athletes, families and supporters.

All of our teams had a blast competing and showing off their skills to other teams in the tri-state area! During each routine, our coaches were jumping for joy as they watched their teams execute every stunt and tumbling skill. Great job, everyone!

"15 hours, 8 teams, two 1st places, a number of 2nds, a wow award, perfection from our Special needs teams, and hopes of a possible Summit Bid on Monday, a lost shoe in a stunt, the Rita head, deductions, legalities, buddy notes & signs, tears, and triumphs So... a typical comp day! ... the highs are high & the lows are tough!! 

So many proud moments! And not just the wins or the very close second places.... the minis recovered after a major fall and got back up into the air... most of our Diamonds came six hours early to support our special needs team and give them roses as they got off the floor.... I watched so much support of each other on & off the floor...and video messages to Coach Nikko in the hospital. Our coaches fought hard for some crazy deductions...That's this sport!
