ROCK STAR OF THE MONTH - EMILY WEBBER

This month's Rock Star of the month is Emily Webber (aka Little Red). Just at the age of six, Emily's outgoing personality and positive energy has caught the attention of many parents and athletes in the Rock Star family. Emily has been a part of the organization for almost 4 years and she is excited to start the new 2016-2017 season on Pearls.

In the last couple of months, Emily has been working hard to perfect her tumbling skills. With the help of Coach Denise and the other coaches, she was able to reach her goal of completing a back handspring! Along with tumbling, Emily also loves being on a team with all of her friends. Although she doesn't go to school with any of her teammates, Emily has found the girls to be some of her best friends.

For this season, Emily is confident that she is going to learn new tumbling skills and do well in competitions with her team. Some of her favorite memories as a Rock Star are placing top three in two competitions last season. With self-motivation and the help of her mom, Jane, Emily feels as if she can do anything she sets her mind to. When Emily is not hard at work in the gym, she is hard at work at home. She is happy to have "two panel mats from a yard sale and one cheese mat from Christmas" in her basement. With cheer always on her mind, we are excited to see Emily learn new skills and excel at tumbling!
