Rock Starz All Star Cheerleading was born in the summer of 2007 as an extension of the very successful CRWA Council Rock Competition Cheerleading (REC Division) Organization. For the previous eight years, the CRWA Council Rock REC Teams participated in my local and regional competitions throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. The CRWA REC teams held numerous National Championship titles.
The original Rock Starz squad, Small Senior – Level III was made up of girls ages 12 to 16 that hailed from in and around the Historic Bucks County Area of Newtown, PA. After our very successful first season under our belt, we are now embarking on expanding our cheerleading participant base and looking for energetic and qualified cheerleaders from all around the Greater Delaware Valley Area.
This is our second year competing in All Star Level Cheerleading. Our cheerleaders enjoyed much success at local and national competitions and as a result received numerous trophies and awards. But the true happiness of being a Rock Starz All Star cheerleader comes from the unforgetable memories created by working together with one another. Last season we attended national championships in cities such as Lincroft, NJ, Ocean City, MD, Washington DC and Hershey, PA,
The turnout for this year's all star cheerleading tryouts in mid May and early June was tremendous. We are looking forward to developing the following teams…Senior and Junior teams, Mini Level 2 and Tiny Level 1 teams for the season. So as you can see we have many teams that can fit your age and cheerleading experience. We have something for everyone.
Our competition season begins in early January and runs through late April/early May. Through our competition squads, we provide cheerleading, dance and tumbling instructions to our cheerleading athletes. Multi-Level in house tumbling classes are held at our facility so everyone can get any opportunity to enhance their tumbling skills.
Our coaches and especially our cheerleaders invest a large amount of time and effort to strive for perfection. Whether it is performing a flawless routine, winning a competition, or preparing for their future, our athletes are taught to excel and always give 110% by emphasing positive attitudes, hard work and a drive to be their best.
Our facility, Rock Starz Cheer Gym provides over 4,500 sq ft of training and practice space in an easy-to-get to location at Newtown's 207 Sports Complex campus which is adjacent to the Newtown Athletic Club. Our facility is right off of the Newtown By-Pass (Routes 232, 332 & 532) and is minutes away from major transportation hubs 1-95; PA Routes 1 & 413…so getting to our location is not difficult.
